Rodrigo y Gabriela are a duo from Mexico City who have been performing together since 2001. Rodrigo y Gabriela bring together elements of nuevo flamenco, jazz, and metal on classical guitars. The duo demonstrates hypnotizing finger work for Sound Opinions at Goose Island Barrel House where they perform 'Santo Domingo.'

Pelican is a post-metal band from Des Plaines, Illinois. Though they have been associated with doom metal, stoner rock, and post rock, nothing characterizes them better than “Midwestern.” Pelican performs ‘Immutable Dusk’ from their album Forever Becoming on Sound Opinions.
