Parenting is hard enough, but what about when the parents are from two completely different cultures? America is full of different ideas about how we should parent our children, but China is pretty steadfast in it's views. Self expression is stifled, and grades and discipline are king. However, in this day and age, kids are more and more spoiled. Some may say it is the product of the one child policy, but we tend to see kids getting away with anything that they want.
So, I am American, and Vivi is Chinese. Will we raise our baby with Chinese parenting styles or American?
