Do ethnic grocery stores hold the key for people to eat better on a budget? WBEZ's Monica Eng spent a day with Malaysian-born Douglas Cheok as he shopped at a couple North Side ethnic markets and then made several dishes from the ingredients he purchased. Cheok says that the $20 he spent on fresh veggies and protein will last him a week or maybe two. This is how he does it.
