There are many things about living abroad that will change you. There is no greater example than living in China. The amount of cultural differences are vast when compared to America, or any western nation for that matter. I have been here for 8 years, and thought it was time to reflect on what changes I have gone through, and how I battle with my identity as an expat in China. Some changes are good, some bad, but either way, China has hardened me into a person that can cope with life's surprises.
What is weird in China? I don't know anymore.
How do relationships work? I do things the Chinese way now.
